NEVC Announces Athlete of the Week Honorees (Week Ending 3/10)
Smithfield, R.I.- The New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) has announced its Athlete of the Week honorees for the week ending 3/10/24. The full list of honorees can be found below.
Athlete of the Week
Jack Normandin (Sr., OH), Nichols College
Senior Jack Normandin (Clifton Park, N.Y.) averaged 3.00 kills per set on .533 hitting as Nichols downed Emerson, 3-0. He tacked on four digs, two solo blocks and two service aces in the win.
Rookie of the Week
Kincade Avery (Fr., OH), Bard College
Freshman Kincade Avery (Santa Barbara, Calif.) averaged 3.25 digs per set, and 3.00 kills per set on .396 hitting, as Bard topped Vermont State- Johnson in back-to-back matches. In the first of two matches, Avery produced a double-double of 14 kills and 19 digs, and then followed that performance with 10 kills and seven digs. He added on 12 assists, five service aces and two total blocks on the week.

The NEVC is a NCAA Division III single-sport conference sponsoring the sport of men’s volleyball. The conference is comprised of eight institutions, Bard College, Eastern Nazarene College, Endicott College, Nichols College, Vermont State University – Johnson, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, SUNY Potsdam and Russell Sage College.
