Leominster, Mass. - The New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) has announced its Athlete of the Week honorees for the week ending 1/18/26. The full list of honorees can be found below.

Athlete of the Week

Chris Milfort (So., OH), Curry

Milfort had 49 kills across three matches, with 10+ in each. Highlighted by a 21 kill performance in a three-set sweep of Rivier on only 31 attempts for a .645 attacking percentage. Also had five digs in each of the three matches.

Rookie of the Week

Nyko Whitaker (Fr., S), Curry

Whitaker had 101 set assists across three matches, with 30+ in each of them. Also had a double-double in win over Adrian with 10 digs and 31 set assists.

The NEVC is a NCAA Division III single-sport conference sponsoring the sport of men’s volleyball. The conference is comprised of seven institutions, Bard College, Endicott College, Nichols College, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, SUNY Potsdam, Russell Sage College and Vermont State University – Johnson.
