NEVC Announces Athlete of the Week Honorees (2/24)
Leominster, Mass. - The New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) has announced its Athlete of the Week honorees for the week ending 2/8/26. The full list of honorees can be found below.
Athlete of the Week
Duncan Tenhagen (Jr., OH), SUNY Potsdam
In three matches, Tenhagen had 48 kills, three service aces, 16 digs and three blocks and a hitting percentage of .391. In a five-set loss at Elmira on Friday, the junior had 14 kills, two aces, four digs in a block. In a 3-0 win over Hartwick on Saturday, he had seven kills, an ace, five digs, a block and hit .412. Later that day, Tenhagen recorded 27 kills against Hilbert, just two shy of his single-match program record. He also had seven digs, a block and hit .525.
Rookie of the Week
Ethan Norris (Fr., OH), Endicott
Norris filled the stat sheet, yet again, for No. 20 Endicott in a 2-0 week, which featured victories over Elms (3-0) and SUNY Poly (3-0). The freshman setter/right side compiled 11 kills (2.20 K/S), a .360 hitting percentage, 21 assists (4.20 A/S), five service aces (1.00 SA/S), and three blocks (1 solo) in just five sets played.

The NEVC is a NCAA Division III single-sport conference sponsoring the sport of men’s volleyball. The conference is comprised of seven institutions, Bard College, Endicott College, Nichols College, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, SUNY Potsdam, Russell Sage College and Vermont State University – Johnson.
