NEVC Announces Athlete of the Week Honorees
Leominster, Mass. - The New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) has announced its Athlete of the Week honorees for the week ending 2/8/26. The full list of honorees can be found below.
Athlete of the Week
Andrew Baaki (So., MB), SUNY Poly
Baaki had 28 kills over three matches this weekend, hitting a combined 0.588 on the weekend. He took a total of 44 swings with only 3 errors. Baaki contributed 8 block assists and 2 solo blocks over the weekend.
Rookie of the Week
Ethan Norris (Fr., OH), Endicott
Norris compiled 22 kills (2.20 k/s), a .375 hitting percentage, 45 assists (4.50 a/s), two service aces, 16 digs, and six total blocks (one solo/ five block assists) during Endicott's 2-1 week.
Started the week against No. 18 Lasell with four kills (.800) and 21 assists in a 3-0 setback. Added four digs and two service aces.
Then in a four-set win over No. 16 MIT, the freshman logged nine putaways (.130) and 11 assists. He also had five digs and four block assists.
Followed up in a sweep over Wheaton (Mass.) with nine kills again (.667) alongside 13 assists. The Hollis, N.H. native finished with seven digs and two total blocks (one solo/one assist) in the sweep as well.

The NEVC is a NCAA Division III single-sport conference sponsoring the sport of men’s volleyball. The conference is comprised of seven institutions, Bard College, Endicott College, Nichols College, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, SUNY Potsdam, Russell Sage College and Vermont State University – Johnson.
